According to a South Korean publication, Samsung has begun to mass-produce the Galaxy fold 2 and therefore this may give Samsung enough time to release this new foldable in august. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to come with a 7.7-inch display with 120Hz of refresh rate. Moreover, the report by Daily Korea adds that this time Samsung will be using the (UTG) Ultra-Thin Glass in the Galaxy Fold 2 instead of the plastic display, this is the same glass that the company used in the Samsung Galaxy Z flip. The company is expected to include an infinity V display with triangular notch instead of the boxed-in tiny display and it is also expected that Samsung will also upgrade the outer display of the smartphone.
Samsung is also expected to ship 2.5 to 3 million Galaxy fold 2 units this year, or that’s what the market forecast suggests.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, recently, it was reported that Samsung might organise an online-only event for the launch of the Galaxy Note 20 series. It will be an organised virtual Galaxy unpacked 2020 event. The reason behind the virtual event is the launch of Samsung Galaxy S20 in Feb which attracted 3,000 attendees from all over the world. So, going by the present situation, it would not be a great idea to hold a physical event.
Lastly, Samsung may also deliver some extra goodies when it opens up pre-orders shortly after the GALAXY FOLD 2 launch.
