Mini John Cooper Works (JCW) Introduced All-New GP Inspired Edition in India

United Kingdom-based ‘Mini John Cooper Works’ on Thursday introduced the all-new Mini John Cooper Works GP Inspired Edition in India and the exclusive hatchback will be limited to only 15 units that will be brought to India with the Completely Built-Up unit (CBU).

In a statement the company said, the all-new Mini JCW GP Inspired Edition pays a tribute to the original John Cooper Works GP hatchback and borrows most of its authentic racetrack flair and brings it to the roads. The firm also said that the hatchback gets bold racing-inspired looks and gets the finest quality materials along with the new visual enhancements.

The BMW-owned Mini John Cooper Works all-new GP-inspired Edition is generated by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, and the well-built engine manages to work out 234 PS of capacity and provides a peak torque of 320 Nm. However, the hatch or design also features driving modes that is Mid, Green, and Sport.

Additionally, the GP Inspired Edition also provides pure racing elements inside-out and its hatchback comes with a John Cooper Works Sports Seats in the leather finish with GP badging and it also consists of a GP logo on both the front floor mats and the steering wheel is shaped in leather with red stitching.

Also, the infotainment features include Radio Mini visual boost, navigation, Harman Kardon Hi-Fi audio system with 12 speakers and 8-channel digital amplifiers to amplify the in-cabin experience. The high-performance hatchback features an iconic circular central panel with a 6.5-inch bright infotainment display.

Lastly, the all-new MINI John Cooper Works GP Inspired Edition is exclusively available in Racing Grey Metallic exterior colour for Rs.46.90 lakh.
